  1. What happened to the blog post about the Kodak woman who rappeled down the side of a glass building? Or the photo project with the Cleveland botanical gardens? It looks as if Kodak has purged many of the stories that gave this blog a distinctive presence. Bad move!

    • Ralph – Actually there was a problem with the server the blog was hosted on and we temporarily lost those blog posts. We are working on trying to get them back and are quite upset about losing them.

      • How aprapos that digital let you down. Had those articles been printed on, say paper, they wouldn’t be lost.

  2. Hi Jennifer,

I have been following your blog for some time and I really enjoyed reading it and looking at the images. It’s has really inspired me to learn more about photography and to broaden my horizon and look at beauty in unexpected places. 🙂

I would like to see if I could submit a guest post or 2 for your blog/readers on the following topics:

    1. 5 Photo Editing Tips That Look Professional
2.How to Start a Digital Photography Business

What do you think about these?

For your information, all of our articles are custom written by our writers for your blog, and are absolutely free.

If you are interested, I am happy to get something written up and sent over to you – or if you have another topic you’d like to see covered, please do let me know.

  4. Hi there!

We are a local Rochester blog that frequently covers local artists (including photographers) and art events in the city. Do you guys ever take guest blog posts?

  5. Hi, I had heard some time ago that Kodak was no longer in business and when I tried to send some photos via e-mail recently it did not work as before. I have always had Easy Share and was pleased with it. I still have lots of photos downloaded, and it seems that I will now have to find another photo software package? Can anyone advise me please.
    Gloria, Toronto.

  6. What exactly is Alaris? And what became of the Kodak printers? I had to replace mine with another brand’s printer, which uses more ink cartridges.

  7. Hi,

I came accross your blog via a photographer I’ve been keenly following, micmojo.

I was wondering if you’ll be keen to feature some of my works. I’m a wedding photographer based in sunny Singapore and I shoot almost exclusively on film. I’m most notable for my black and white works shot almost entirely Kodak TRI-X which has been a staple film for me ever since I held a camera.

Some of my film works have been published in various publications:
    Lomography – http://www.lomography.com/magazine/lifestyle/2013/01/17/the-lomography-questionnaire-with-brian-ho
    ROMP – http://thegaleriadotcom.wordpress.com/2013/03/07/q-a-session-with-romp-magazine/

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

  8. Hey Jennifer,

There’s a great documentary called “Alive Inside” about music’s power to help those whose memory and lives have been diminished by Alzheimer’s disease. The film really hits home and highlights the memories we all collect with print photos. Check out the trailer online.

  9. My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find the
majority of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content for you?
I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you write regarding
    here. Again, awesome web site!

  10. Looking for an opportunity to participate in a unique exhibition in Rochester? 6x6x2014 is a great opportunity for artists and art lovers alike! 11. Hi,
i wanted to ask: which portra did Ed Thompson use for his work you presented here in the blog? Really loved these colors 🙂

    Best regards,

  12. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this
website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance.
I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. In addition, the blog
loads super quick for me on Safari. Excellent Blog!

  13. Hello,

Is there any way I can find out how many readers this blog has? I would love to see some statistics about the blog as I am thinking of writing a paper on one of the blog posts.

This is a great blog btw 🙂

    Kind regards,

  14. I can’t transfer photos from from Kodak Easyshare C813 camera to my Mac 10.3.3.
Furthermore I can’t even email the photos already uploaded.
